Air batu campur




Ice plus or better known as ABC (also known as Ice Kacang in Penang and Singapore). Founded from Shave Ice originated in Japan. It can also be found in other countries such as America, the Philippines, Thailand with other names such as ice and snow so.
It is a drink made from machined ice and mixed with ingredients such as nuts, fruit slice, cendol, grass jelly, corn sweeteners, such as water syrup and sarsi and tie.
It is the top choice for enthusiasts or hot or cold weather

Orang Bugis



Bugis originated from the islands of Sulawesi in Indonesia, and now with a population of three million, inhabit almost all areas in South Sulawesi. Dutch conquest in the 17th century, causing some of them have now moved and mixed with other tribes in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Java, Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. They are merchants of spices and incense.
As written general knowledge controlled by british whereas, ethnic Bugis famous enough in the maritime field in the Malay Archipelago and in the economy. They are also well-known as a brave warrior, a notorious pirate (styled by a successful propaganda techniques by competitors such as Dutch and English.) And a successful trader. The main focal point for cultural and ethnic economy is known as Ujung Pandang or Makassar. Bugis is also a Muslim.

Nasi Lalap



ok what is very special about this lalap & rice right into Kat Sabah there eh? Kat peninsula so far this mesia been truly I do not see you again la .. but Actually not too .. hehe .. lalap rice or lalapan this actually comes from our neighboring country, Indonesia .. kalo see even look like there is something like a chicken Penyet/ pecel right ..

lalap this is actually a side dish Indonesian version .. so can say this kind of rice rice salad lalap Indonesian version la but also served with other kinds of fish, fried chicken or fried fish .. kalo kat Sabah, Lalap @ Rice Fried Rice Lalap Basically this consists from rice/ nasi goreng served with a few pieces of fried chicken, some kind of salads and chili sauce which is a major asset this dish

Tanjung Simpang Mengayau




Tanjung Sampang Mengayau is a most northern cape of the island of Borneo. It is located in the district of Kudat and is a tourist area in Malaysia. Mengayau Smith is also a high hill, which extends the network into the Sulu Sea facing up to reveal a beautiful panorama as the sun began to rise and sunset.

Taman Buaya Tuaran Sabah Crocodile Farm



Located in Tuaran, northern part of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The crocodile farm was first open on 2005 and operates as a branch of one of the three other crocodile farm in Sandakan and Langkawi with more than 1,000 crocodiles.
The background of this sucessful crocodile farm was started about 50 years ago where one young boy from a fishonger family started with small pond when a fishermen gave him crocodile hatchings that caught in their nets. From there, this boy gradually manage to built up his carrier breeding more than 3,000 crocodiles babies annually and the business keep going forward.
Before you get close see the crocodile cage, you’ll find few of other crocodiles that has been waxed for display purposed along after the entrance.

EASTERN CINEPLEX Eastern Plaza, Tawau






The cinema is the second cinema to be opened in the city of Tawau after the launch of Star Cineplex Tawau back in 2007. It is located at Eastern Plaza, the largest shopping complex in Tawau town and it provides another choice of entertainment for the Tawau residents with cinematic experiences on 3D, 2D and 35mm films.









Tawau Tanjung Market





Situated smack dab in the middle of Tawau Town, next to the Tawau Port, is the Tawau Tanjung Market; also known as the Tawau Central Market—a place where you can find anything and everything under one roof.

Completed in 1999 and equipped with 6,000 stalls, the Tawau Tanjung Market is said to be the largest indoor market in the whole of Malaysia. The ground floor of this market is where you can find foodstuff such as fresh fruits, vegetables, keropok amplang (amplang crackers), Indonesian-made dried crackers, and other fresh produce.

On the first floor, you can find dried preserved food such as dried salted fish, dried anchovies and dried prawns which Tawau is famous for. There are plenty of varieties of dried salted food for you to choose from. The best part is that the produces sold here are reasonably priced, plus some room for bargaining.

If you’re a fan of interesting wooden crafts and decorative items such as hand-woven baskets, placemats and other souvenirs, the top floor of the Tanjung Market, which is known as ‘Pasar Gantung’ or Hang Market, offers a plethora of goods that are both made locally and imported from Indonesia and the Philippines.  Here, you can also find some attractive batik clothes, sarongs and other clothing items. Don’t forget to haggle before you buy.

Madai Caves





Madai Caves are famed as a source for swiftlet's nests used in bird's nest soup.The caves are located in Tawau Division of Sabah, eastern Malaysia, on the island of Borneo
Twice a year (between February and April, and between July and September), licensed collectors risk their lives climbing to the roof of these caves using only rattan ladders, ropes, and bamboo poles precariously attached together. It is a special festival event for the local Idahan villagers, who have held the rights to Madai Caves for over 20 generations.


Sipadan







Sipadan is the only oceanic island in Malaysia, rising 600 metres (2,000 ft) from the seabed. It is located in the Celebes Sea off the east coast of Sabah, East Malaysia (which is on the island of Borneo). It was formed by living corals growing on top of an extinct volcanic cone that took thousands of years to develop. Sipadan is located at the heart of the Indo-Pacific basin, the centre of one of the richest marine habitats in the world. More than 3,000 species of fish and hundreds of coral species have been classified in this ecosystem. Sipadan has been rated by many dive journals as one of the top destinations for diving in the world.


Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary




Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre is located about 25 kilometers west of Sandakan in the state of Sabah, East Malaysia.
The centre opened in 1964 as the first official orangutan rehabilitation project for rescued orphaned baby orangutans from logging sites, plantations, illegal hunting or kept as pets.The orphaned orangutans are trained to survive again in the wild and are released as soon as they are ready.The sanctuary is located within the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve which covers an area of 4,294 ha (10,610 acres), much of which is virgin rainforest.Today around 60 to 80 orangutans are living free in the reserve.It has become one of Sabah's tourist attractions.

Orangutan feeding times: 10am and 3pm.
It is recommended to arrive 30 minutes before feeding time.
Facilities: Souvenir shop, information center showing a video 6 times a day, cafe and toilets.
Getting there: Many organised tours leave from around Sabah at varying prices. Public bus #14 departs from Sandakan taking approximately 45-60 minutes, costing RM5. The Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan bus can also drop you at junction Jalan Sepilok, around 2.5km from the Center. Journey approximately 5 hours from KK.
Taxis are usually available outside the centre (RM40 to Sandakan).

Mount Kinabalu



Mount Kinabalu (Gunung Kinabalu) is a prominent mountain on the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. It is located in the East Malaysian state of Sabah and is protected as Kinabalu National Park, a World Heritage Site. Kinabalu is the highest peak in Borneo's Crocker Range and is the highest mountain in the Malay Archipelago.Mount Kinabalu is also the 20th most prominent mountain in the world by topographic prominence.
In 1997, a re-survey using satellite technology established its summit (known as Low's Peak) height at 4,095 metres (13,435 ft) above sea level, which is some 6 metres (20 ft) less than the previously thought and hitherto published figure of 4,101 metres (13,455 ft).
Mount Kinabalu includes the Kinabalu montane alpine meadows ecoregion in the montane grasslands and shrublands biome. The mountain and its surroundings are among the most important biological sites in the world, with between 5000 and 6000 species of plants, 326 species of birds, and more than 100 mammalian species identified. Among this rich collection of wildlife are famous species such as the gigantic Rafflesia plants and the orangutan. Mount Kinabalu has been accorded UNESCO World Heritage status.

Taman Bukit Tawau





Tawau Hills Park, was established in 1979, primarily as a protection for the water catchment area of Tawau town, in Sabah, east Malaysia on the island of Borneo. It is located 24 kilometers from Tawau, and comprises 279.72 km² of lowland dipterocarp rainforest, surrounded by oil palm and cacao plantations. The park offers picnic areas, camping sites, and chalets. The Park contains rugged volcanic landscapes including a hot spring and spectacular waterfalls. The highest point in the park is Gunung Magdalena (1310 m). It is administered by the Sabah Parks.

Kundasang Sabah






Kundasang is a village in district of Ranau, Sabah, Borneo that lies along the bank of Kundasang Valley. It is located about 6 kilometres away from Kinabalu National Park, 12 kilometres from Ranau town and is renowned for its vegetable market which is open seven days a week. It is the closest village to Mount Kinabalu and has a panoramic view of the Mountain. It is populated mainly by the native Dusun and a very small population of Chinese people. Almost all the shops are operated by locals.

Beside the main road vegetables wholesalers can be found in a long row of wooden stalls (Malay: gerai). Bulk buyers come from all over the state of Sabah, Sarawak and even Brunei for the fresh harvest. Pick up trucks are seen laden fully with harvest from the farms nearby the valley and delivered to the stalls. Passing tourists and travellers also stop by the road for shopping at a good bargain. The stalls are open 7 days a week.
